1. Introduction

Welcome to Oromo Calendar (also known as Dhahaa). Oromo Calendar is a mobile application providing an Oromo calendar experience, cultural content, and premium wallpapers for users around the world.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Oromo Calendar app and all related services. Please read them carefully before using the app.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Oromo Calendar app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. Continued use of the app following any updates to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Subscription Plans

Oromo Calendar offers the following subscription options to unlock premium features:

• Weekly Plan — grants access to premium features for one week.
• Monthly Plan — grants access to premium features for one month.
• Yearly Plan — grants access to premium features for one year.
• Lifetime Plan — a one-time payment granting permanent access to premium features. No renewal required. Available to Ethiopian users via our website at oromocalendar.com using Chapa.

Exact prices for each plan are displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region and currency.

4. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

The Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly plans purchased through the App Store or Play Store are auto-renewable subscriptions. The following terms apply:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic renewal — your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal charge — your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
• Managing your subscription — you can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your device account settings (App Store or Play Store) after purchase.
• The title, duration, and price of each subscription are shown on the purchase screen within the app before you confirm.

Subscriptions purchased by card on oromocalendar.com are also auto-renewing, and are processed by Stripe. The following terms apply to those:

• Payment is charged to the card you provide at confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic renewal — your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the same price until you cancel it.
• Renewal charge — your card is charged at the start of each new period, at the price of the selected plan.
• Managing your subscription — you can cancel, or restart a cancelled subscription, from your profile menu on oromocalendar.com at any time.
• The title, duration, and price of each subscription are shown before you confirm payment.

The Lifetime Plan is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew. Lifetime plans are not available by card on our website.

5. Payment Methods

Oromo Calendar supports the following payment methods depending on your platform and location:

• Apple Pay / App Store — for iOS users in all regions except Ethiopia. Payments are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system.
• Google Pay / Play Store — for Android users in all regions except Ethiopia. Payments are processed through Google's in-app purchase system.
• Card payment (Stripe) — for users outside Ethiopia who subscribe on our website at oromocalendar.com rather than in the app. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe.
• Chapa (ETB) — for Ethiopian users only, available exclusively via our website at oromocalendar.com. Chapa is a trusted local payment gateway supporting Ethiopian Birr and a range of Ethiopian payment methods.

All transactions are processed securely by the respective payment providers. Oromo Calendar does not store or have access to your card or bank account details.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. How you cancel depends on where you bought it, because each payment provider bills you directly and only that provider can stop the charges:

• Bought in the app on Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Oromo Calendar → Cancel.
• Bought in the app on iOS (App Store): Open Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → select Oromo Calendar → Cancel.
• Bought by card on oromocalendar.com (Stripe): Sign in to oromocalendar.com, open your profile menu, and choose Cancel Subscription. You can also restart it from the same menu at any time before the current period ends.
• Bought with Chapa (Ethiopia): Nothing to cancel. Chapa plans are one-off payments that do not renew — your access simply ends when the plan expires.

We cannot cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription for you. Apple and Google allow only the account holder to do this, from the device settings above. This applies even if you delete your Oromo Calendar account — see section 9.

After cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for. No partial-period refunds are provided once a billing cycle has begun.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the platform through which you made your purchase:

• Google Play Store — refund requests are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
• Apple App Store — refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy.

For subscriptions purchased on our website — by card via Stripe, or with Chapa — please contact us directly at support@oromocalendar.com to discuss refund eligibility.

Cancelling a subscription is not a refund request. When you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and no refund is issued for that period.

8. Download Limits

Each subscription plan includes a set number of premium wallpaper downloads per subscription period:

• Your download allowance is defined by your active plan and is displayed within the app.
• Free wallpapers are always unlimited and do not count toward your download limit.
• Your download limit resets automatically at the start of each new subscription renewal period.

Unused downloads do not carry over to the next period.

9. Account

• Account security — you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One active device — your account is intended for use on one active device at a time. Sharing accounts or using multiple devices simultaneously is not permitted.
• Account deletion — you may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the app, or from your profile menu on oromocalendar.com. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

What happens to your subscription when you delete your account depends on how you paid, because deleting your account with us does not by itself stop a payment provider from billing you:

• Card subscriptions (Stripe) — cancelled automatically as part of the deletion. You will not be charged again.
• App Store or Google Play subscriptions — not cancelled, and we cannot cancel them for you. You must cancel in your device settings (see section 6) or you will continue to be charged for a subscription you can no longer use. You will be asked to confirm you understand this before your account is deleted.
• Chapa plans — nothing to cancel; they do not renew.

10. Content

• Ownership — all wallpapers, images, and content available in the app are the intellectual property of Oromo Calendar unless otherwise stated.
• No redistribution — premium content downloaded through the app is for personal use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or share premium wallpapers without explicit written permission.
• Content changes — app content, including available wallpapers and features, may be updated, removed, or modified at any time without prior notice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy in calendar calculations and astronomical data, we do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oromo Calendar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
